The City Council has announced a change to the schedule for the upcoming public hearing. Originally planned for an earlier date, the hearing will now take place on April 21, 2026. Attendees are asked to arrive by 5:30 PM to register, find seating, and review materials before the hearing begins.

Please wear a WHITE SHIRT so City Council will recognize we are all part of the same group of concerned citizens.

What to Expect at the Hearing

The hearing will follow a structured format:

  1. Opening remarks by the City Council Chair

  2. Presentation of agenda items by city staff or experts

  3. Public comment period where attendees can speak

  4. Council discussion and deliberation

  5. Decisions or votes on agenda items

Council members listen carefully to public input before making decisions. The hearing is a formal event, so maintaining respectful behavior is important.

Remember, your presence matters even if you do not speak.
